Meet Leah

Sometimes we need to press pause on all the noise and spend time within. Having made a career change herself, Leah believes firsthand in the power of proper support. Leah identified over the course of her own healing in therapy what values and attachments were built around her beliefs of self, the rigidity around her own view of a life path and found a deep appreciation for space to pause and evaluate within a frame of lovingkindness. We are all capable of developing inner resources when given the opportunity to be authentic. Creating a safe space to explore needs, develop supports and coping tools through mindful self-compassion are the roots of my practice.

As a psychodynamic therapist, I incorporate different techniques catered to each person’s individual needs. Building trust and authentic space allows for learning/evaluating ways to develop a healthy relationship with stress responses and your own relationship with your feelings. Skills can then be integrated and understood to move beyond what the often ingrained ‘inner critic’ may be advising on a tougher day. In the warm, open space provided in therapy we explore creative pathways of interpretation/healing. With consistency, you will begin to treat yourself as you would a good friend.
